See what the Beast's clients have to say about his professional strength & conditioning training.
I've been blessed to have Mark as my trainer for 8 months now. I'm not an easy project, with an intense travel schedule and bad eating habits, but in this time, I've lost inches and put on size. If it weren't for my time with Mark, I'd still be average and wishing I weren't. Clearly, I'm a different man as a result of this honor. I look forward to each and every session.

I have been training since my late teens, and have been training seriously for about the last 10 years. I have had personal bouts with alcohol, and lost everything I worked for physically through training through my disease. Honestly, it was finally the toll that alcohol took on my physique that was the final catalyst for me to enter into recovery. I have been sober for 6 years now, and training and bodybuilding have been my life preserver and my savior in regards to my happiness, my esteem, and my life. I have educated myself on training, spent thousands of dollars building a home gym, done hours of research as far as diet and training has gone, and I have resisted the use of trainers in that training has been something that I wanted to do independently, something I could say that I have done on my own. I was able to bring myself quite far in my pursuits of bodybuilding, and even dared to dream of participating in a competition at some point. This has been the perfect complement to my career, which is ICU nursing. I have been able to care for others just as rigorously as I train and care for myself. However, while caring for a 750 pound patient, I encountered a cervical spine injury. While I wish I could place all the blame on him, it was actually my repetitive training and at times poor form which led to some degenerative weaknesses which made me prone to injury. The injury was so bad, I had no idea what had happened, but all my strength dissipated, and I watched in sheer horror as all my hard work and years of training melted away. This as you can imagine has become one of the darkest periods of my lift, and my training has become such a part of my being, identity, my day and routine, that I was thrown completely into a darkness and depression that I did not think I would make it out of. Honestly, it is probably the scariest period of my life that I have had in a long time. This is when I turned to my old friend Mark Featherstone, remembering that he is a trainer, and watching how he helps so many others on Facebook, and following his posts, I took a chance and reached out to him. I have to tell you, it was so bizarre how he seemed to know how to manipulate my routine and get me training again while I simultaneously cared for and got treatment for my cervical spine injury. When I could have easily just continued to follow my spiral downward into despair and depression, Mark seemed to have the ability to see right through me physically, and train me around my injury, helping me to regain some of my strength, and most importantly, restore faith into my life. Now I am happy to say, my injury is well on the mend, and my strength is not only on the way back, but I am now exceeding some areas of strength over where I was previous to injury. Mark has guided me from all the mistakes I was making previously, has lined me up with a nutritionist, and as far as I can see, my strength and mass is now starting to exceed where I had been stuck for years. As you can imagine, the help Mark has given me has far surpassed just a simple new exercise routine. The man has seriously had a large part in saving my life. He laughs when I say this because he thinks I am kidding, but I am right on serious. I travel and hour up, and an hour back from Quincy to Plymouth to see Mark, and its a journey I am glad to take. I see him at least twice, but more often 3 even 4 times a week. I love what I see him do for others, as well as what he has done for me.. he is someone who really believes in what he is doing, is beyond the description of trainer, and this all comes from a seemingly effortless place for him, because he truly believes in what he does. I am so grateful that I have him in my life.

At 10 weeks out from my figure show I realized that my glutes were lagging way behind my other body parts. I knew that I had to bring that area up if I wanted to be competitive in my next show. After seeing and hearing all the results Kristin Fonseca was having with Mark I decided to ask him to help me too. Im so glad that I did! He corrected my form on my exercises so that I was getting the most out of the movements. Those little tweaks helped make such a huge difference as I was able to feel the exercises more in the area I was trying to work. He also set me up with a glute/leg workout to do on my own once a week. Because of all his help I was able to tighten up my lower half and get my glutes to look the best they ever have and win my Masters Pro card! I cant thank Mark enough for all his knowledge and help. I plan working with Mark over my off-season to help me prepare for my first Pro show next June. If I had such great results in only 10 weeks I cant imagine the results Im going to have in 11 months!

Ive been honored to train with Mark Featherstone for the past year. I chose to work with Mark because of his reputation as the best in the business but also because he holds himself to a high standard - and I wanted a trainer who would do the same for his client. I didnt want to be treated "like a girl," or, worse, like an old chick - I wanted to be pushed, challenged and taken seriously, and to learn how to put training routines together for myself. I have made impressive strength gains in what were previously my weaker areas and I have improved my endurance and flexibility significantly as well. Do you know any other 43-year-old women who can flip a 400-pound tire around the gym like its a toy? For most of my sessions, Mark and I do a combination of HIIT and heavy lifting that leaves me exhausted, sore for days... and eagerly anticipating what were going to do next time. If you take your training, nutrition and fitness seriously, there is no one better than Mark to help you smash your goals. No matter your sport or area of interest, if "uwannabebeast!" Mark is the man.

Mark Featherstone is hands down the most respectable figure in the bodybuilding/fitness community. I was taken back a bit when he made the effort to contact ME and invited me to come train at his his gym in Plymouth MA with him! I jumped at the chance obviously and ended up creating a strong friendship with him in this industry. As soon as I got there, he took me through a crash course of a workout just to see if I could hang, and after 7 years of competing; I barely could! Mark is strong and well educated with nearing 30 years of beast-like experience under his belt! Of the hundreds of big names in this industry you have seen me hanging with or making videos with, I can honestly say Mark is just about the ONLY one, with the slim exception of a couple others whom I can truly say I admire, trust, respect to the fullest and actually look up to! Despite his freakishly hard core appearance he is actually one of the most humble people I have ever spoken to. The man, despite how amazing his physique is seems to literally hold no ego over anybody and is always willing to go way out of his way to help! I will let the videos him and I have made do the rest of the talking. My sincerest hats off to the Beast himself! I recommend HIM as anybodies trainer/coach with 10s across the board.

My youngest son was entering his 5th year of pop warner football, and wanted to do something extra this summer to get him ready for the upcoming season. Myself a former professional football player, knew of the importance of off season training to get oneself in top physical shape prior to opening of football season. My son would come to the gym with me and workout, but I knew he needed something different than the traditional weight training. I heard someone at the gym talking about the Warrioir Workout, I asked around and spoke with you. You explained the training regime and ultimate goal for the kids. I left feeling that this is exactly what my son needed, I asked him if this was something that he would like, and he jumped at it. Once the training started, he was eager for the challenge and embraced it, he looked forward to every training workout. He enjoyed it so much that he started to beg to go the gym with me even more between the sessions. Your training focused on core, agility, and cardio, and a little strength, which is exactly what they need at this age. I believe that this type of training is much more beneficial at this age than the traditional weight training, as you work the entire body to include the "Core". My son broke his finger the first day of football practice, which resulted in him having to wear a cast(finger tip to mid forearm), for 4 weeks. Even though his hand was placed in a cast, he insisted on continuing Warrior Training ( Doc said OK), he didn't miss a football practice or Warrior Training session while his hand was in a cast. Football season has begun, with two games completed. My son has truly benifited from the warrior workout training by evidence of his on the field performance, he is physically manhandling any player that lines up against him, it almost seems unfair. I believe that he has taken the next step, with your warrior workout being a major part of his transformation. He has diffently embodied your mantra "Beast Mode", while playing football. Great job, and I would highly recommend this warrior workout to any young athlete looking for that edge. Thanks - Tim Hjermstad

I started working with Mark Featherstone the last week of July 2012. The results I have seen so far are fantastic. I definately have more size and defintion then I did before training with Mark. He can explain to you why he has you doing what you do. He is mindful of avoiding injury. The exercises he reccomends are the best and safest way to reach your full potential. He has gotten me very excited about my bb and I can not wait to get up each day and DO IT! Mak will bring out the beast in you! -Natalie Lynch -Lenox MA

I first saw Mark in Cutting Edge barber shop getting a high and tight Mohawk. When he stood up from the chair it was apparent the clean-cut matched his physical appearance. It was as if an artist had spent years chiseling perfect muscle definition throughout his body. As an up and coming bodybuilder, I knew I had to find a way to work with him. Three weeks later I found myself in miracle territory (right place at the right time) at Cape Cod Nutrition when Dave Lyford (expert dietician) introduced me to Kristin Fonseca (Wnbf Pro). Kristin was extremely kind and informative offering tremendous advice on posing, dieting, and training. Kristin advised me to get in contact with personal trainer (Mark Featherstone). I seized the opportunity and sent Mark an email asking if he would be interested in training together. His immediate and sincere response proved he is truly a professional in the field. My first visit spent with Mark at Powerhouse Gym was to outline a plan of attack. I showed him my current routine and he taught me my first true lesson as a bodybuilder, "Keep it simple, and hit the muscles from every possible direction." Mark sent me a customized workout that same night. I have seen more results from Marks workout in 6 weeks than 2 years of my own programs. Today, Mark sent me a new 4 week program which I cannot wait to begin. I am walking proof of Marks guaranteed results which has me recommending anyone and everyone to his services as a personal trainer. Mark is the entire package. His physical appearance matches his extensive and diverse knowledge as a lifter. I hope this testimonial will serve as "miracle territory" to all readers so they may also experience the success found when working with Mark. I feel blessed to have found someone as knowledgeable, motivated, and passionate in the fitness industry as Mark Featherstone. I look forward to working with Mark in the future.

Working with Coach Mark has been an awesome experience so far and will definitely continue to be one! By working with him he has taught me how to put on a great amount of muscle by lifting big and eating good. He has run me through conditioning courses and weight gaining programs to get me ready for my Mixed Martial Art events as well as wrestling. When lifting with Coach he will push you to your limits, teach you techniques and different exercises to use in case you weren't comfortable with the ones you were doing. He has worked with my brother and was able to help him lose weight as well as throw on muscle. He put good amounts of muscle on me to be able to compete against grown men in this sport, i have yet to feel weak against any of them thanks to coach! He is an awesome BEASTLY coach that has yet to let anyone down. Coach Mark is an awesome person, who is loved by many people and is growing to be part of the family. So if your looking for a BEAST work out, Coach Mark Featherstone is the man for the job!!
